So I was playing football the other day when body contact with an opponent sorta saw him make contact with my sensitive bits. Which was fine, because frankly these things happen in a contact sports such as football, yes?
Upon the end of the game, apparently my friend started bitching about that same opponent and how he kept body-banging him constantly, and once even sorta caressed (albeit in a rough manner to conceal the delicate nature and intent) his sensitive bits.
Which was when I realised I had inadvertently been taken advantage of, without even knowing it. All guys who play football know that accidental contact is part of the game and just go on with the flow. But surely this guy had carefully crafted his strategy to get the better of us, innocent people who believed in good old fashioned romance (not that kind) of playing football.
I have nothing against homosexuals. I have homosexual friends and relatives and feel no qualms about hanging out with them. But frankly, where Luciano Moggi's comments was once seen as homophobic and grotesque, I somehow see it in a whole new light.
Who's to know if that contact was accidental or purely intentional? Who's to judge whether the guilty party is actually out to have a good time (at the expense of others)?
Or maybe we all should just start wearing pelvic guards, normally seen in sports such as taekwando. That might be a safer and less controversial method to safeguard ourselves and other people's feelings.
