Change is good, yes?

This has been the longest time spent in Singapore since departing for the greener pastures of Sydney. More interestingly, this time has shed new and often different light on loved ones, close friends and friends I once considered close.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only grown up around, or is it the other way around? Where everyone else is grown up and I'm still left in an idealistic world of my own making.

But change, ahh...that element never ceases to amaze the best of us. Even grizzled veterans of change can be caught unaware at any one time. So change. Change turns plans on their heads, change normalizes special and specializes normal. Friends once lost are now found and friends once close are now far far away.

I deal with change, just like the rest of us. And get a move on. The time spent in Singapore has indeed made things very different indeed. I wonder what the future holds.
