14 degrees, umbrella-breaking wind, 45degree rain, soaked thigh-sticking track pants and socks wallowing in fish tanks of a pair of shoes. That's the recipe for a rather miserable afternoon attempting a coastal walk from Dee Why to Long Reef.
Still, Long Reef itself is a pretty impressive rock outcrop. Always wanted to go back since the first visit there.
And it was supposed to be the plan for DZ's previous Sydney visit but for the presence of unsuitable company.
Well, there's always next time.
