This is how I'll always remember the man.
When he was first purchased by the club, everyone was wondering how his family name was pronounced, and whether he could actually defend. Everyone was used to the likes of Ruddock, Babb, Harkness, Kvarme and co., who tried their very best but could never really cut it.
In came Hyypia. And the rest they say is history.
I always liked him as a player. He was, after all, my favourite player in the early days of his Liverpool career.
Goodbye Sami. Perhaps we'll see you some day.
