Third Time Lucky

I can't remember the last time music resonated so deep within.

For some bizarre reason or another, Portishead always seemed like a band that played hard-rock. Never know how I ever got that impression seeing that I had never listened to their music before this week.

And so their third album, aptly named Third, was released this year. Which generated a hell lot of publicity. Because no one had ever expected a third album, since the previous was released ten years ago.

To go about it the right way, I chose to listen to their first two albums first and needless to say, I was blown away.

And now it comes down to Machine Gun, their first single off Third.

Beth's haunting vocals are crying out to be heard live. I think I've just added one more thing to my Things To Do Before I Die list.

I need to go to Bristol!!!
