Jesus loves me

stranger: hey mate, do you know the way to a mandarin court or something?
me: i know a mandarin centre...
stranger: oh, sounds like it...does it have a food court?
me: yeah, its a shopping centre with a food court at the top. just go straight down...
stranger: oh cheers...
me: i'm going there anyways...
stranger: thanks mate, that'd be great. whats your name?
me: andrew. your not from around here are you?
stranger: nah, i'm from campbell town, know where that is?
me: (nods)
stranger: so andrew, do you know jesus?
me: thats pretty subjective isn't it?
stranger: yeah that's exactly right. do you go to church?
me: yeah..
stranger: which one?
me: hope...
stranger: ahhhh...its always good to have hope innit?
me: (smiles and nods)
stranger: do you know that jesus loves you?

and this is where he starts to tell me wonderful things about me and jesus, and i smile politely and nod in agreement. he even introduced me to his pastor. wonderful.

almost nine years ago, i was on parallel wavelengths with this guy, doing similar deeds and having similar intentions. wow.
